2009

VMB design a World class prediction software to compliment their World Class Line Arrays.

Acoustical prediction technology is without a doubt one of the most important tools necessary for sound engineers, installers or system designers. To be able to "virtually" determine the behaviour of one or various cabinets in particular situations before they are installed or set-up has infinite advantages.

Based on polar response measurements of each cabinet (Line Array and Installation models), taken meticulously at 5º intervals and with 360º cabinet coverage both vertically and horizontally the Rainbow software is able to calculate the SPL response of one or various cabinets including the interaction between them taking in to account the magnitude and phase response of each one enabling the user to correct or even create cancellation if the design so requires.

Rainbow's aim is to help installers/users and these are the main features:

 - SPL Pressure prediction in Vertical and Horizontal drawing.
 - Import of CAD plans in Vectorial ".wmf" format.
 - Ability to add multiple points with cabinets and Line Array in one single prediction.
 - New cabinets installed online automatically.
 - Weight information by flying point.

Acoustical prediction, the Rainbow Software is unveiled.
