VMB Española S.A diversifies its business area and creates the first range of towerlifts and aluminium trussing, designed in response to the necessities of those clients who demanded a projector and lighting set support.

The first towerlift model was the TE-06, the most copied and imitated on the market. Later on the towers TE-04 and TE-07 were created, models which followed the principles of the popular TE-06, gaining the confidence of the technicians who started to use it thanks to its great efficiency, practicability and reliability. In very little time, VMB achieved a complete range of towerlifts and aluminium structures that were amongst the most important on the market.

While the range of towerlifts was growing at an extraordinary rate, the audio division kept developing with systems such as the Compo Dos and the first VMB brand analogue processors.
