Richard Hawley in Valencia with Lynx V8

News

Brit Award nominee Richard Hawley played in Valencia’s Mirror on February 17th as part of his 2010 European Tour, the last stop in Spain before making his way to Greece. He said his farewell to Spain with a Lynx V8 Line Array of 12 LX-V8 cabinets and 6 LX-218S sub woofers.

Supporting the English singer were Spanish band Cura Cardiaca who had been with him for the duration of his stop in Spain and played a selection of tracks from their latest album.

Hawley’s early career was as guitarist with the bands Longpigs and PULP before collaborating with the likes of Nancy Sinatra and Robbie Williams and going on to produce six Studio albums.

Hawley played for about 90 minutes alternating between different guitars after each song. The Valencian fans were treated to some wonderful guitar work with tracks from his latest album ‘Trueloves Gutter’ as well as numbers from previous discs before leaving the stage and returning for an encore of Jimi Hendrix’s Little Wing.

The artist and his band were well received and his technicians and the Lynx V8 did a great job in ensuring the sound quality was at its best.
